On November 10th, 2014, I was heading south from Scottsbluff, Nebraska trying to outrun the cold temps, snow, and wind of an arctic front coming down from the north. It was like surfing on the leading edge of a giant wave. In this video clip, I had crossed over into NE Colorado and you can see that I was out of the snow, but the wind was still with me...and the tumbleweeds were like unending herds crossing the highway for about an hour of driving!
